This is the view out of the back door of the house we're staying in!
My brother-in-law's boss was so kind to let us use his house here in Colorado (gratis!) We all thought it was a condo, but it's actually a 4 bedroom house...sweeeeet!
Yesterday was a bit of a blur: we woke up at 5:30 am (!) and flew 2.5 hours, then drove about 6 hours. We all felt like this:
But we're having a great time. little d and Grandma are napping, I'm doing a little work, or rather, I was doing a little work, now I'm goofing off.
This is little d concentrating very hard on keeping his hands on his knees and his feet in the "French Fry" position.
I am about 1/2 way through with my April book club assignment, it's pretty interesting...this might be better as a movie. I'm also listening to a Patricia Cornwell book on CD which I transferred to my iPod. It's really not a good idea to listen to gruesome murder stories as you're trying to fall asleep....must write that down in my "life lessons notebook".
