The artist in question, being myself. At my job, my primary duty (in the 10 hours per week I'm there) is to keep up the website. I also do ads & brochures, too, because I'm a graphic designer. (And tragically hip - hahahahahah!)
I recently re-vamped the layout and general look of the firm's site. My boss, and the boss of the whole company are very happy with it, and the only comment I've received was: "Can you add a splash of yellow here & there?"
OK! Happy to do it! Easily done!
Until today, when I get an email from our Negative Ned (via the office manager) that someone told him they are NOT impressed with the website because, when they opened a PDF file link, and then closed it the whole site closed!! EVER HEARD OF THE BACK BUTTON?
I think I'm so annoyed this morning because of my history with Negative Ned - he's such a hater. Out of 30 Partners, he's always the one with disparaging comments about the display boards, the images I choose, the brochures, blah blah blah. And even though I get 98% positive feedback from everyone else, it's the one or two digs that really get under your skin.
Something to work on during Lent - this touchyness of mine.

My husband is a graphic designer!
I'm giving up sugar. I figure it'll be easier than working on my actual personality.
Since Beck keeps reminding me, I think I am going to give up pop ... gosh I will miss it, but you know for Lent I can make a little sacrifice.
Negative Ned's suck. When I worked there always seemed to be one that was like that!
